"The light shines in the darkness, and
the darkness has not overcome it."
John 1:5
For days now, I have been speaking against the horrors threatening our children. I'm sure friends have unfriended me, because I post the truth of God's word. It doesn't mean that I don't love my friends who may or may not be participating in something with which I may not agree. But the truth is that God does not agree, and what He calls wrong or sin, it is sin! I love God, and I serve Him, so I stand with Him. But in standing with Him I also love everyone, regardless, and God has indeed given me a tender heart toward most situations, even those that affect me directly, such as abuse and trauma to children.
Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California has been extremely vocal against AB495, a bill that is cloaked in lies with the pretense of helping immigrants, but it is in truth aimed at destroying the lives of our children. So he is making a public stand, as he did in Sacramento on the 19th of this month, and he continues to speak in the pulpit, as all pastors everywhere should be doing, and he has been invited to speak elsewhere. His voice is being heard, and God's truth is being proclaimed.
Today, in the mail, I received an update from a ministry I support, Alliance Defending Freedom, that provides pro bono services to protect our God-given rights and freedom. It included a story about a young girl, who at age 12 was coerced by her parents (ignorantly) and doctors to receive transgender services.
At age 12 Clementine Breen was told by her counselors and doctors that she was really a boy. "Behind that diagnosis was a deep, unhealed wound: Clementine was sexually abused as a child, leaving her terrified of growing into womanhood." She states that although she was aware of why she felt fearful as she was approaching puberty, she became so afraid, anxious, and depressed that she started '"having weird behavioral issues."' Rather than receive the assistance and support she really needed in order to heal from her previous trauma, she was "rushed headlong into dangerous 'transition drugs,' and ultimately doctors removed her healthy breasts." The article explains that the doctors coerced her parents into believing she was high risk for suicidal attempts say: '"Would you rather have a dead daughter or a living son?"'
At this point in reading Clementine's story I was so nauseated, enraged, and overwhelmed with grief that I didn't want to read more. Knowing that this is not an isolated case should make all hearts grieve. But I read on.
Clementine received puberty blockers at age 12, testosterone at age 13, and at age 14 she was given a double mastectomy. As the "treatments" continued, she declined more mentally, couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate, struggled with bouts of psychosis, and, eventually attempted suicide. Remember the doctors had urged the parents using suicide as a "high risk" factor for their savagery. BUT, at age 17, when providers were once more trying to force her into having "treatment" - a hysterectomy - Clementine said NO! Hallelujah. In 2024 she embraced her God-given sexual identify as a female, stopped taking testosterone, and found help from a trauma counselor. Now with the help of ADF she is seeking to hold her former medical providers accountable. '"I know who I am,' says Clementine, now a college student. 'I am a woman.'"
While the ending, or the beginning of the end of her story is worthy of thanksgiving, the affects of her "treatments" are irreversible. I don't know if Clementine knows whether knows Jesus yet or not, but I do know that healing comes through faith and trust in His love and enduring grace and mercy. Praise God that there are counselors who know the truth, and who are reaching out to help those trapped in the vicious lies of the devil. But knowing the truth does not make the evil go away, we have to stand up and speak out. Pastors need to begin by informing their flock of the truth of the Word of God, educating them on what is happening in our culture and in our nation and how we are to fight against it. Don't just say you'll pray about it, act on it. And if you're too afraid to speak out, then support ADF and others who are not afraid to speak the truth. They are not afraid of the "hard cases." Although we now have a President to knows the truth and is doing something about it, regardless of the flack he has always gotten, more is needed. Fortunately, in the State of Virginia we have a Governor who stands on the Word of God and speaks out for truth, but other states and cities are not that blessed. The judges placed in position previously are corrupt and fight again truth all the time. But praise God and I do, their evil is being revealed, and change has been slowly coming. Victory belongs to the Lord!
"For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed,
nor hidden that will not be known."
Luke 12:2
I hope you'll join the fight and stand with us! Selah
